REAR PANEL
1. POWER INPUT (AC IN)
Connect to an AC power supply using the included power supply cord. Aftermarket AC
power cables may also be used. Consult your dealer for advice.
2. HDMI OUTPUT JACK
Use HDMI to connect to a compatible TV, Video Monitor, surround preamplifier or AV
receiver that has an HDMI input. This can be set to 480i, 480p, 576p, 720p or 1080i in
resolution in the Set Up menu. Please be aware that trying to operate your
video display at a setting higher than it is meant to operate may damage it.
Please read your TV or video display owner’s manual carefully for the possible settings
it will accept.
3. STEREO OUTPUTS
Mixed or stereo Left and Right Audio Output jacks that are configured in the on screen
display (OSD) SET UP menu. These are in addition to the 5.1 analog outputs.
4. 5.1 ANALOG OUTPUTS
Front Left, Front Right, Surround Left and Right, Center and Sub Woofer outputs for
the multi channel playback of movies, DVD Audio or SACD disks.
5. S-VIDEO OUTPUT
Use this analog video output for a video display that has an S-Video connector as its’
best video input connection. This output is 480i or 576i in resolution. (NTSC/PAL)
6. COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT
This analog video output is for use with older design video displays. Both the S-Video
and the component video outputs offer a better quality video signal to a compatible
video display. This output is 480i or 576i in resolution. (NTSC/PAL)
7. COMPONENT VIDEO (Y, Pb, Pr) JACKS
The component video connections offer the best quality analog video output from the
DVD 8. The connections have a Red, Green or Blue (RGB) colored insert inside them to
make proper connections easier to do. This can be set to 480i, 480p, 576p, 720p or
1080i in resolution. Be aware that trying to operate your video display at a
setting higher than it is meant to operate may damage it
